A brand new B&M store recently opened in Haverfordwest, with the help of guests of honor from the Paul Sartori Foundation. Bridge Meadow Retail Park’s new store spans over 18,000 square feet and has created more than 65 jobs for locals.
Customers can find a wide variety of branded groceries including baby food and pet food. There is also a selection of health and beauty products, household items, electrical appliances, essentials, toys, games, gifts and much more to explore.
The new colleagues have been asked to name a local charity that they believe truly deserves VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the Paul Sartori Foundation which took center stage during the official opening to unveil the new B&M boutique.
The Paul Sartori Foundation, Pembrokeshire’s only home palliative care service, was established for people with life-limiting illnesses and was founded in memory of its namesake, Father Paul Sartori. The charity has since provided more than 20,000 hours of hands-on nursing care and provided more than 1,230 pieces of equipment, with now more than 300 volunteers on site.
In addition to the store opening, the team will also receive £ 250 in B&M vouchers which will help the charity continue to do the great work they do.
The store manager said: “It was really exciting to greet customers through the doors; the feedback so far has been fantastic.
“A big thank you to the Paul Satori Foundation team who helped us open the store, we hope our donation can help them continue to do the great job they do to support the local people.”
